2018’s march was our biggest ever, led by the First Minister of Scotland.
In fact, it was one of the largest street processions of any kind held in Scotland. We’re determined to make 2019 even better.
The route and date are still in planning, but we have opened registrations below. The march usually lasts around an hour, and we make every effort to make it accessible.
Please see below for information on how to register for the Pride Glasgow 2019 march.
Individuals and small groups
Individuals or family/friends forming walking groups of up to nine people do not need to register, please just come along and enjoy the day.
Please note: if you are marching as part of an organisation, you must register regardless of group size.
Large walking groups
Groups of ten or more must register and provide one steward for every ten walkers. This is to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Floats make a great addition to our march, the more colourful the better! In order to ensure safe movement of vehicles, floats must be registered so we can carefully co-ordinate stewarding and planning.
Sponsorship of our march is essential to help cover the costs of licensing, policing and other costs. The sponsorship level depends on a number of factors including:
- Size of group
- Type and size of any float vehicles involved
- Type and size of organisation (small business, public sector, corporate)
- How much self-promotion the group intends to carry out
We will be in touch once we have received your registration to discuss.
Please note that individuals, charities, community groups and trade unions never pay to take part in our March, but do still need to register if bringing more than nine people.
